How to do it
Guide step 1

Cut out the parts from the template. Include an allowance for the seam.

Cut out 2 x stocking.

Cut 2 x pieces for the outside fold.

... and 2 x pieces for the inside of the fold.

Zigzag (around the edges of) all the cut out pieces.

Sew together the back seam for the fold (marked with an X); of both the outside folds and the inside folds.

Sew together the 2 pieces for the fold (on three sides). Do not sew the bottom together.

Cut off the corners, turn inside out and press.

Sew the stocking together, cut notches in the curve and turn inside out.

Sew decorative ribbon onto the edge of the fold.

Cut a 5 x 24 cm piece for the strap. Zigzag and sew together on the long side. Turn inside out and press.

Sew the fold and the strap onto the stocking; turn up the outer side of the fold and sew onto the outer side of the stocking.
